ULTRAVIOLET LIGHTS These can be your best friends. They may cost a little money upfront, but the savings from money not spent on chemicals and water treatments that keep your pond green-free, will pay for itself. What an ultraviolet does is take that microscopic algae and clump it together so then your filter can pick it up. You must be aware that UV lights only work with properly sized pump. They will be ineffective with a pump that is too small or to large. The water must pass by the light at the right flow rate. Make sure you talk to someone knowledgeable, like us!
